• Question: Do you lose your temper really quickly if you can't figure something out?

      No not at all. You soon realise this would get you nowhere, and you’d spend a lot of time losing your temper! Figuring something out is one of the most rewarding parts of being a scientist, and you accept that it won’t be easy and may take time.

      I don’t lose my temper – like Mathew said, if you did you’d spend much of your time angry as a scientist! It can be frustrating at times, but you find out much more when things don’t go as expected, even if you can’t explain it sometimes!
