Definitly… I know how to fix things!

Hoewever even when you’re doing things that aren’t inherently science based, the approach of collecting information, breaking things down into smaller problems, and building a model of how things work is really useful.

I think working in the field of science that I do helps with knowing what can make you ill and how which is very useful! I also think working in science makes you more inquisitive in general – so you learn a lot of things that may not even be related to science.

And like Ian, I also think it makes you approach problems outside of science in a methodological way which helps resolve problems 🙂
