Questions of “why” and “purpose” aren’t really the sort of questions science answers. Science can tell you “how” and “what” but it has no morality.

We can figure out how humans came into existence, but there is no “purpose”. That’s an area where philosophy and religion can actually be useful.

This is a very interesting question!

Humans exist because we evolved from primates through natural selection to be who we are today. But why life at all began on Earth isn’t a question science can answer. Perhaps our purpose is to keep humans alive and keep on reproducing….but it’s a very philosophical question!
