      I build mathematical models, basically theories which allow us to get numerical and visual predictions of what’s going on. A good model is helpful because it enables you to quickly understand the concepts, and lets people think up extensions that fit any new data from experiments.

      So my models aren’t really actual physical things, they are mathematical equations written down on pieces of paper!
