• Question: Does anyone know if volts contain atoms? If so, does the amount of atoms vary with the speed of volts in a parallel circuit and/or a series circuit.

      You’ve got the general idea, but its not volts, its current

      voltage is the “potential difference” which push electrons round a circuit, like balls rolling down hill. steeper the slow, faster the balls roll.

      Each electron (ball) carries some charge. The number of electrons that make it round the circuit per second is the current (current is defined as how fast the charge is moving). To increase the current the electrons can move faster, or you can move more electrons.
