      Hi baadeh
The amount of exercise recommended depends on the age of a person.
Children between 6-17 years old are advised 1 hour or more of physical activity. Adults from 18-65 years should exercise for about 3 hours every week. This would mean around 20 minutes of brisk walk daily.
      How do you exercise everyday?

Scientists are also looking at the effect of short bursts of exercise – which may be as good as longer sessions at the gym at improving fitness. Not many studies have been carried out though, and it may only be suitable for healthy people with no health problems. So until then, looks like I can’t skip those longer gym sessions 🙁 !

An important thing to consider here is what exercise is, a lot of problems we see in people who have little muscle and lots of fat is not due to the fact that they don’t exercise, but more because they rarely move! So exercise doesn’t always mean going to the gym, or running as fast or as far as you can. Being generally more active can be enough, walking rather than driving, going outside rather than watching TV etc.
