      At the moment I’m working out what happens when you smash particles together. It’s really complicated (look at this picture to get an idea – )!

      That means I have to find simpler ways to do the maths. I use a kind of mathematical mirror that untangles the complicated bits. It’s a bit like playing a computer game – the tools I use allow me to “cheat” and jump to the next level straight away!

      At the moment I’ve nearly finished a calculation. It will tell me more about our theory of how particles behave all over the universe!
