      Laughter makes us really comfortable with social situations, that is the reason when we laugh we may connect better with people, specially when it’s an unknown group. The exact circuitry of the brain that is involved is not worked out completely.

      We’ve evolved to laugh – the part of our brain that controls laughing is one of the oldest parts, so we actually find it impossible to not laugh. Laughing is a form of communication, so we laugh is because it’s hardwired into our brains, because we want to and because it helps us fit it πŸ™‚
